7. Once you have made your choices and are ready to create the macro,click Record.
8. Immediately begin performing the actions that you want the macroto perform. You will notice that the Apple menu flashes to an icon ofa tape recorder as long as you are in record mode.
9. When you have finished performing the actions that you want themacro to perform, from the File menu, choose Macros,then select Stop Recording. This will switch AppleWorks outof record mode.
